Generator Exhibition

Generator was an exhibition exploring the language of generative art that took place at the Kaleidoscope Gallery, UK, in 2015. The work on display explored various systematic analogue methods to define visual outputs.

For a poster designed to accompany the event, MuirMcNeil developed two custom typefaces using generative methods. These were used as the basis for 70 x 50 cm poster printed in overlapping neon orange and violet layers. The typefaces have now been extended to include 12 variants and published as the Generator Type System.
