MuirMcNeil Sans Soft is a sans serif type family developed from MuirMcNeil Sans Sans, a ‘neutral’ type system in which the characters of the Latin alphabet are distilled into a system of variable components intended as the basis for extensive reconfiguration.

Sans Soft retains much of the underlying armature but transforms its character through the consistent rounding of its terminals. This softening of the component forms gives the typeface a more relaxed and affable disposition while maintaining the structural minimalism of its source.

Sans Soft is a versatile and distinctive type collection: a coherent design in upright and italic styles, each in 13 matching weights. Its rounded forms introduce an inviting warmth without compromising the consistency and flexibility of the underlying typographic system.
