FF ThreeSix Mono is a monospaced optical / geometric typeface in four weights. ThreeSix Mono has been designed by MuirMcNeil to enhance the ThreeSix type system. In ThreeSix Mono, small spaces have been located at stroke junctions within letterforms, separating them into modular segments. The resulting stencil effect is easily visible at large sizes but in extended bodies of smaller text it produces a relatively light, open and even overall appearance.

ThreeSix Mono has four weights: 036 Extra Light, 072 Regular, 108 Bold, 144 Black. The strokes of all four weights align on a central horizontal and vertical axis onto which weight is added in 18 unit increments. In this way, width, stroke, cap-height, x-height, ascent and descent are modulated in vertical and horizontal registration on a fixed grid.
