The MuirNcNeil Two Type system consists of 13 typeface families constructed from a core set of glyphs mapped to a common grid. Each typeface comes in a range of calibrated weights so that the entire Two Type System comprises 377 fonts. Individual fonts are intended to be used as building blocks which can combined to form hybrid composite variants.
Mat Taylor was commissioned by MuirMcNeil to devise a motion design system to show the potential for the combination and recombination of individual fonts to generate new and unexpected forms.
