TwoString is a multilinear geometric type family that is part of MuirMcNeil’s extensive Two System collection.

All of the Two System typefaces are modular geometric designs that are intended to work together in two or more layers. The weights, contours and spacing of all typefaces in the system are designed to map perfectly onto one another, offering a huge range of visual possibilities when overlayed.

Working with page layout, bitmap or vector design software, users can apply selected styles to letterforms and background panels either in precisely interlocking layers or in calibrated offsets, applying outlines, tints, colours, textures, patterns and transparencies as appropriate.

TwoString has been drawn up in three different stroke counts of three, five and nine lines and in round and square terminal variants. In addition, each style has also been produced in modulated stroke weights and in disassembled sub-component formats.
