When Bond’s London studio designed the identity for the 65th Type Directors Club competition, they selected typefaces from various foundries, mixing archetypal and experimental styles.

The new identity challenged conventions by combining parts of letterforms from MuirMcNeil’s Two System with various other designs such as Felix Salut’s Galapagos font and Daria Petrova’s innovative Cyrillic glyphs. The result challenges ideas about letters, legibility, and language while celebrating the diversity of the contemporary typographic scene.
